The MyHyundai app offers a convenient and efficient way to access information about your Hyundai vehicle. With its user-friendly interface, the app provides access to a range of owner resources and allows for easy scheduling of service appointments. It also allows users to connect to their Bluelink enabled vehicle from their mobile phone, thanks to Bluelink technology.

Bluelink technology enhances the on-the-go experience, enabling users to access their Bluelink features from anywhere, whether they are at home, in the office, or out and about. To take advantage of the app's Bluelink Remote features, users simply need to log in using their MyHyundai.com ID, password, and PIN. The app even provides the convenience of using Touch ID or Face ID for quick and secure login.

It is important to note that an active Bluelink subscription is required to use the Bluelink features within the app. Users can renew or upgrade their subscription to either Remote or Guidance packages by visiting MyHyundai.com.

Select features within the MyHyundai app are accessible with an active Bluelink Remote Package (R) or Guidance Package (G) subscription. The MyHyundai app offers a wide range of features designed to enhance the ownership experience. Users can remotely start their vehicle, unlock or lock doors, and even start their vehicle with customized presets. For electric and plug-in hybrid vehicles, there is also the ability to view charging status and manage charging schedules and settings.

In addition to these remote features, the app provides user tutorials to help individuals better understand key features. Other useful features include remotely activating the horn and lights, sending Points of Interest (POI) to the vehicle, and accessing saved POI history. The app also makes it easy to schedule Car Care service appointments and provides access to Bluelink Customer Care.

For added convenience, the MyHyundai app allows users to find their car, access maintenance information, and access other useful features. Users can even check their vehicle status (available on select 2015MY+ vehicles) and use the four phone widgets for Remote Features, Parking Meter, POI search, and Ioniq EV vehicle support.

The MyHyundai app extends its support to Apple Watch users as well. By using voice commands or the smartwatch app menu, Apple Watch users can remotely start their vehicle, unlock or lock doors, activate the horn and lights, and find their car. Please note that an active Bluelink subscription and a Bluelink equipped vehicle with capabilities are required to use these features.

When using the MyHyundai app, certain device permissions are requested for specific functionalities. These permissions include camera access for adding driver and profile pictures, contact access for selecting from phone contacts when sending secondary driver invites, location access for map and location functionality throughout the app, phone access for placing calls when tapping on buttons or links to call, file access for saving PDFs or other downloaded documents to the device, notification access for receiving push notification messages from the app, and Touch ID/Face ID access for enabling fingerprint and/or face recognition functionality.
